Powered Access Training

Platform Sales is able to provide IPAF and PASMA training and certification for operators of access equipment at our Leighton Buzzard training facility.

Safe and correct use of platforms and towers is essential for your staff’s safety, and to meet the requirements of the access industry. We can help your employees get qualified quickly and efficiently, setting up training for you as soon as possible to reduce the impact it may have on projects and schedules.

IPAF courses include training for the safe use of powered access equipment. Our courses are conducted in groups of six and last one to two days. They comprise both theory and practice study, followed by written and practical tests. IPAF is a non-profit organisation that provides rules and standards for the access industry. Upon successful completion of the course, trainees will receive a PAL Card (Powered Access Licence).

PASMA courses include training for the safe use of aluminium towers. Our courses are conducted in groups of up to twelve members and last one day. They comprise the training of assembly, stability, safe use, repositioning, inspection, maintenance and dismantling of mobile access towers. Upon successful completion of a written and practical test, trainees will receive a competency certificate and PASMA photocard.
