Platform Sales Supply Access Equipment to Easyjet

Recently Easyjet have embarked on a new project to include the Airbus aircraft at the Luton maintenance hub. This naturally led to a need for more access equipment, flexible enough to enable them to access hard to reach areas at varying heights, and suitable for work inside and outside the hanger. Having worked previously with Genie lifts and been happy with their reliability and excellent product support services, choosing Genie product was an Easy decision.

Easyjet purchased a number of Genie Aerial Work Platforms from Platform Sales including 2 off Z45/25j Bi-Energy articulating boom, four GS 2032 and one diesel powered GS2668RT scissor lift. Before delivering the equipment to Easyjet, Platform Sales fitted them with beacons and market lights to warn workers when equipment is moving or in operation, thus ensuring the machines comply with airport safety regulations.
